Hong Tho Bilw Temple, also known as Feng Tu Miao, is a Taoist shrine dedicated to Guan Di Gong, the god of war and wealth. Founded by Yang Lin in the 1940s, the temple was originally located in Kampong Hock Choon, a farming village in Woodlands. During World War II, many villagers were captured by Japanese soldiers but managed to escape unharmed, which they attributed to blessings from Guan Di Gong. In gratitude, they built a temple to the deity. In the 1980s, the temple moved to its present location in Marsiling Industrial Estate after the village was redeveloped. Today, it continues to serve the Taoist community in Woodlands who visit to pray for blessings and celebrate important festivals.
